As it turns out, Republic Technologies (NA), Sream, and its predecessors, file hundreds of lawsuits. They usually target small convenience stores, gas stations, and record shops. They allege ownership of a registered trademark in the RooR brand. They then allege that a sale of a counterfeit RooR pipe. They go further and try to hold not only the business accountable, but also its owners.
